Last weekend Andy surprised me (yet again) and took me to a place up in the mountains called Mountain River Ranch. You get to ride a sleigh pulled by draft horses around the property that they've decorated with lights and scenery. Then you go to a big dining hall and they fix you a monstrous meal and you get to listen to some kind of performance. They gave us platters, not plates but platters, to eat on which should give some indication of how much food we got. You could either pick prime rib or roasted chicken. With either one you got a baked potato, stuffing, green beans, salad and a roll and then cheesecake for dessert. Needless to say I couldn't finish my whole platter. We got the Not Brothers for the performers, who were pretty entertaining although some of the songs they came up with were rather cheezy. But it was a really fun night... I guess there are a few things to do in Idaho Falls ;)

Your husband is so romantic! That would be such a fun outing, I think. The sleigh ride would be the ultimate!
