Yesterday Chandler had a primary activity that was called "Journey to Bethlehem". The kids had to come dressed like they lived back in Jesus' time. The primary set up scenery all over the church and the kids had to walk around and see the different scenes that happened around Jesus' birth. They had to collect coins and buy bread, cheese and juice and had to sign their name at the census. It turned out really good. I was one of the people at the crowded inn that had to turn the children away and tell them there wasn't any room at the inn. It was hilarious listening to everyone in the inn say why there wasn't any room...from the black plague and leprosy to someone clucking like a chicken and the innkeeper sounding like Achmed the dead terrorist!
Family faces are magic mirrors. Looking at people who belong to us, we see the past, present, and future.

Chandler is so cute. I think that he is looking more and more like you.
What a fun idea your ward did. I'm sure the kids all loved that! You dressed Chandler up very cute, too.
