Take it like a WOMAN!
Ok, over the past few weeks at work I've come to find that the term "take it like a man" has become a tragic comedy. We have had 8 year old girls that come in here and show what tough is-lay there calmly until we are done without even flinching...then we have the male species (sorry guys who are reading this) who ask if it will hurt, beg for the laughing gas and squirm in the chair...all before we've even started working on them. We've even had one who requested his wife be in the room with him to help him feel more at ease....one, who after finding out our nitrous machine wasn't working, jumped out of the chair and asked to be rescheduled after our machine was up and working again...and one who pretty much hyperventilated in the chair while getting numb and who the doctor had to keep reminding to breathe on a regular basis so he wouldn't pass out. So in leiu of these recent observations I now believe more than ever why it's the WOMEN who carry and bear children (and handle various other tasks) because if it was the guys....when their water broke, the world would literally come to an end.
